APRIL IS HISTORY
As per usual the first Billy-Ball of the start of each new month will recap the records of each team the prior month. I’m sure there is a reason for this and I’m sure you know what it is. I, unfortunately, no longer remember why I do this, all I know is that it is a lot of work.

American league
East W L PCT GB
NY Yankees 13 10 .565 — – Giambi has 27 RBI, a total he didn’t reach last year until July 5. There pitching may not be great, but they have the hitting to compensate (note the rhyme).
Boston 14 11 .560 — – Beckett and Schilling, and then it’ll rain, the good lord willing. The Sox are weak at the back of the rotation and at the end of the lineup.
Toronto 12 11 .522 1 – Every time I see them, they impress me. Vernon Wells may end up the MVP.
Baltimore 13 13 .500 1
