Hafner’s (near) Ultimate Grand Slam

A pure ultimate grand slam is so named because it is a walkoff four-run homer for a team that trails by three with two out in their final at bat. Doing it with one out is pretty damn close.

Travis Hafner of the Cleveland Indian his his walkoff granny deep into the right-field seats to cap a five-run 9th inning Tribe rally and give them  a 5-4 win over the Toronto Blue Jays.

“It’s awesome, there’s nothing like it.” Hafner said of the feeling he had. “It’s the most fun you can have on a baseball field.”
