The Jays Rotation is Set

New Toronto manager John Gibbons has announced his planned rotation to start the Blue Jays season.

The 2012 National League Cy Young Award winner R.A. Dickey will start on opening day, April 2 against Cleveland and will be followed by right-hander Brandon Morrow, Mark Buehrle, Josh Johnson and lefty Ricky Romero.

In other pitching-related news, the Blue Jays announced that Jack Morris has joined their broadcasting crew for the coming season. Morris played on Toronto’s World Series teams in 1992 and 1993. Morris, who retired in 1995, will be lucky enough to work primarily on radio with the great Jerry Howarth and make occasional appearances on television.
