Nine to Know: Astros wins

The Houston Astros won last night.

Now that’s a headline.

The Hapless defeated the Pitiful, 7-6, to end their six-game losing streak as the Astros took advantage of three errors by Angels catcher Hank Conger to score five unearned runs.

The Angels’ 11-21 record ties their 1976 record for the worst start through 32 games in franchise history.

C.J. Wilson (3-1) allowed seven runs, two earned, including the longest home run of Jose Altuve‘s career.

The Astros trailed 3-1 after the 1st inning and came back to win. It was the Astros first comeback win of the season.

Then again, it was only the Astros ninth win of the season.
