Shin-Soo Choo Hits a Walkoff Homer of Craig Kimbrel

The Reds Devin Mesoraco hit a full-count two out tying home run off the Braves Craig Kimbrel which was quickly followed by Shin-Soo Choo hitting his second home run of the game, this time a walkoff giving the Cincinnati Reds a 5-4 victory off the Atlanta Braves.

Kimbrel blew his third save of the season and allowed his second and third homers of the season after allowing just three last year.

I have much more on Kimbrel’s struggles on BaseballAnalytics.org.

Instead of Kimbrel earning his 100th career save, Reds manager Dusty Baker picked up his 1600th victory as a manager, moving him ahead of Tommy Lasorda for 18th place on the career list.

There have been a dozen walkoff homers this season
