Who’s under the .200 weather?

One hit in every five at bats.

Two hits in every 10 at bats.

Too much to ask?

It’s not like I’m asking for three hits every 10 at bats, just two.

Is that too hard to do?

So far, apparently for these guys with at least 60 at bats this season, it’s been a struggle.

Let me tell you, these guys aren’t the 25th man on the roster, there are plenty of names you know, painfully if you are a fantasy baseball player.

Names like Will Middlebrooks, Jeff Keppinger, Alex Avila, Rickie Weeks, Raul Ibanez.  Brett Lawrie, B.J. Upton, Darwin Barney, and Josh Reddick, just to name a few.

For some, crossing the decency threshold won’t take much, but for a guy like Adam Dunn to get over .200, he needs to go 8-for-8. Even he would admit that he has a much better shot at 8-for-8 strikeouts, than 8-for-8 hits.
