Blown Save of the Night/ Walkoff of the night
The blown save of the night and the walkoff of the night came in the same game by two different pitchers, and two batters.
The Mets’ Josh Satin tied his team’s game against Arizona with an RBI single in the 9th off Arizona closer J.J. Putz, making his first save opportunity since he went on the disabled list May 8.
Then in the 13th, Satin doubled with one out off Josh Collmenter (4-1) and after John Buck was intentionally walked, Mets rookie Andrew Brown with two outs in the 13th hit a two-run walkoff single after Cody Ross led off the top of the inning with a homer against David Aardsma (1-0) to give the Mets a 5-4 victory.
Arizona moves back into a tie for the most blown saves this season
