But…
Janssen’s was the Blown Save of the Night, however the run he allowed was unearned.
The Blue Jays were up 3-2 heading into the 9th and Yasiel Puig drew a leadoff walk before Janssen struck out Adrian Gonzalez and Hanley Ramirez. He then got two strikes on Andre Ethier who hit a sinking liner that center fielder Colby Rasmus charged but couldn’t catch. It then bounced off his glove, allowing Puig to score.
The Dodgers then scored five in the 10th to win it.
The moral of the story
When you’re hot, you’re hot and when you’re not…you’re the Blue Jays.
