Players with multiple 5+ RBI games this season
The Red Sox Travis Shaw beat out Pablo Sandoval for the third base slot in spring training and that move looked fortuitous as the Panda went on a season ending disabled list and Shaw through May 27, in 39 games, was hitting .329 with six homers and 29 RBI.
Then reality set in. In Shaw’s next 37 games, through June 27, he hit .197 with one homer and 10 RBI. Shaw showed some life last night against the Rays going 3-5 with a homer and a double while producing his major league leading five RBI game.
