Nine to Know: The longest Nine Inning Games in World Series History

Sadly two of them have been this year

Throughout baseball history, there have been nine nine-inning World Series games that have dragged on for at least four hours and you can count Games 2 and 3 of the 2019 Series amongst them. These last two games have sounded on television like a Joe Buck/John Smoltz filibuster with nonstop commentary about, well, after a while, I really don’t know what.

This is not good for baseball.

This is not good for anyone.
